Synaptic Touch Pad and IE6

My Synaptic touch pad does not work in IE6 browser
windows. I've updated the Synaptic driver to the latest
version. Any ideas?
 
Sorry but no, have you tried tech support for this 'synaptic' touch pad?
 
Yes, I have. I'm sure I have the latest driver. The
problem only occurs in IE windows. It does not occur in
any other windows, Microsoft Office windows or others.
