There are several ways..
First, depending on the symbol, you can copy and paste the symbol into the replace dialog box
Second, you can open the Find and Replace dialog box, click More, click Special, and select th
symbol from the list
Third, you can look in the Windows Character Map (it's stored in Accessories if it's installed, but it'
not part of the default install, so you may need to go back to your Windows installation CD), locat
the character and look at the code. Then, in your document or in the Find and Replace dialog box
hold down Alt while you type the character code on the numeric keypad. When you let go of Alt
the character appears
