I was cleaning up my hard drive and may have deleted something important because now EVERYTHING in Windows is in Symbol form (desktop, all files, folders, icons, etc.). I looks like everything has changed to something similar to the Wingdings font. Any suggestions on how to correct? Thanks

Sounds like you deleted a system font. Windows uses
certain standard fonts and if you delete one then you get
strange looking text that usually is not readable or
strange looking.

Not sure what you mean by "cleaning up my hard drive."
Where you just randomly deleting files you somehow felt
were not needed? You should never do that as you do not
know what the system uses or the reason why a certain file
is on your hard drive.

There are several fonts the Windows system uses. Which one
you deleted may be difficult to figure out.
