Symantec Enterprise Ed. 8.1 Live Update don't work

I've a windows 2003 server domain with N.2 server:
- DC1 (domain controller)
- ISA1 (Isa Server 2000 machine).
All clients are Windows XP SP1 with SAV Corporate Edition 8.1 installed
From about two weeks I've noted that when I attempt to download the last virus definition updates (by clicking Live Update button) it don't works and in the SAV registry events immediatly appear: "Live update fail to dwonload virus definition".
My network is a test enviroments and in the last two weeks I've tested many features and configuration.
For example I've tested the Security Templates reported in the Windows Server 2003 Security Guide and in the Windows XP Security Guide.
But I've removed all policy settings and actually the only policy applied is the Default Domain Policy.
In every case I've used Online scan tools on www.symantec.com to find if any virus or worm is on my networks but no virus was found on my network!
Is here anyone who can help me?
Thank you.

Cosimo:

1) It sounds like your SAV license has expired.
Check the date of the .slf file in \Program Files\Common Files\Symantec
Shared\ Licenses\

2) If the license has expired, you can still update the definition files by
running the Intelligent Updater file on each computer.
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/download.html

3) You may want to purchase SAV v 9 if your license has expired.

4) If your license has not expired, check the ISA server logs.
