I have a Dell PC that i use for school. right now it can only acces the net if i have my LAN cad in. My LAN card only works at school though. when at home i have no acces to the net, but through my home desktop. i want to know how to set up my computer so that it will acces the net through an ethernet cable. how would i go about doing this??
 
Buy and install a router for about $50. I recommend
Linksys or D-link.
