Switching speakers left-right

I moved my desk around recently, and had to arrange my speakers (one
connected to the other by a wire) in a different way than before, because
otherwise the power cord wouldn't reach. Now the sounds come from the wrong
direction i.e. sounds coming from the left, comes out of the speaker on the
right, and vice-versa. Is there a way to fix this?

I have the same problem, because of the layout of my room. My case has to be
on the left, and my right speaker cable isn't long enough to get across from
the case to the right side of my desk. It seems so simple - surely there's a
way to swap the left and right channels in Windows!
