Switching Master/slave Drive round

Hey all, I need to change my Master CD drive with a slave DVD/CDWR drive...I know how to actually change them round and switch the M/s.....but I need to know if I must prepare my pc for the switch, and how to do so

Hello
No there isn't anything special you need to do as long as your Bios are set
to auto detect then just switch then and make sure the jumper settings are
set to cable select and you are ready to go.
