Switching Identities Problems

I have been using Outlook Express for several years without any problem with
two identities.

When I start outlook express, I can see my emails for my default identitiy
but when I swithc to my husbands we can see he has email in the inbox but we
cannot see the message, when we move the cursor down to the preview box the
hour glass come out, when we open the email we cannot see the text. Once
again the hour glass appears with no text showing for the email. We can see
the who its from in the title etc but not the email text. Any ideas
