Switching between home and office network

When i connect the laptop to my home network the dhcp configures my ip and
everything runs ok. The problem is that in can't see shared folders over my
home network. I am not allowed to use "automatic search for network shares"
because of the security policy my laptop has. If i change any of the share
settings my office server is automatically notified and i'm in big trouble.
Is there any way of having 2 network connections (one for home use and one
for office use), with separate settings and shares, vpn and all the rest,
similar to the profile system used for hardware settings? Can i group my
shares that i "see" on both my network into 2 folders?

Since your laptop has security policies set by the office network, I
recommend consulting with the network administrators at your office.
They can tell you if, and how, you can use your laptop on the home
network in conformance with those policies.
