hi,

we are putting together a switchboard for my access database, and we have
not been able to figure out how to make a 'preview' switchboard button. We're
doing a set of four phase project where we process banking information. We
have built this swtichboard off of several forms, and we've been asked to do
a "preview account statement." Does this sound like we need to build a new
form based on account information? or is there a preview function for
switchboards that we're unfamiliar with. suggestions? many thanks

is your preview account statement gonna be 'report' based? if so, then
you will need to create a new report , then you can have a link from
the 'switch board form' to the report without having to build a form.
however, you probably need a form to input the data for the report and
a table to store it (dont know if you have that already).
