Switch OS versions between computers

I have one computer with XP Home and just bought another with XP Professional. I would prefer to have the professional version on the current and install XP Home on the new one. Is that possible? Any help how would be appreciated.

If either one of the computers came with Windows XP pre installed then you
may not switch.
The preinstalled one is an OEM product and may not be moved from the
original PC it was supplied on.
