Hello,
I have installed Adobe Flash Player 9 in my PC and when attempt to open to a
file swf with Internet Explorer 6 the page comes up blank. When seeing the
source code of the generated page appears the following code:
</script> <script language= " Javascript " to >var objectSource= "
file:///C:/WINDOWS/Help/Tours/mmTour/segment3.swf "; </script> </head><body
leftmargin=0 topmargin=0 scroll=no> </body></html>
If I change the file xpsp3res.dll by an older version, then it works fine.
what xpxp3res.dll does? How can I solve this problem when my Windows XP is
updated?
Thank you very much.

Hi Carmen97,

xpsp3res.dll provides a work-around for the "Click to Activate this ActiveX
control" prompt when you move your mouse over an ebedded ActiveX control on
IE6-7 Sp2 machines for local ActiveX resources.
Your machine will fix itself when you update it as your problem is currently
caused because you do not have xpsp3res.dll installed on your machine.

Regards.
