Swap the contents of one presentation with contents from another

Bug Repro

Hello

I am creating a solution in which I need to swap the contents of an existing
presentation with contents from a backup copy. The destination presentation
is in open state before this operation starts. What I am thinking of is to
copy and past of all the slides from the backup presentation to the
destination and delete all the original slides from the destination, and then
saving the destination document. Is there a better option? We want to make
the user experience as smooth as possible. Ideally, the view state of the
destination document will be preserved as is.

I need to do this for Powerpoint 2003, and 2007. Please let me know.

Thanks

One more quick point, I can close the destination, and then overwrite the
file with the backup copy. However, from a users experience point of view it
is less then ideal solution. I am looking for a solution which allows a
better user experience if possible.
