Hello,

What is svchost.exe? I've had this take up 99% of my CPU resources and slow
my machine down to a halt. I see in Task Manager that there are several of
them running in memory.

Hi,

As mentioned, svchost.exe is a valid normal file.

If, however, you misspelled it and it is actually scvhost.exe that you see
in task manager, then you want to read this, as that is a virus:
