svchost.exe

There are 2 svchost.exe processes running simultaneously on my PC (task
manager) and one of them is consistently taking up 99% of the CPU and
therefore blcoking the PC. What can I do? Is this a virus?

IMO it's more likely adware or spyware or a worm. svchost.exe
isn't itself bad; it's normal to have more than one running. But
taking up 99% of the cpu is a bad sign.
Time for antivirus and spyware scans.

Pop
