i was wondering the purpose of the svchost running
because my computer runs like 10 of the same exe. any
help is greatly appreciated.

Sorry to say this but it looks like the Nachi virus if you
are running multiple instances. Visit:

To remove the virus and download the latest Microsoft
security patches.
