Svchost.exe shutting down

Every now and then, more often than not, I get an
error message that svchost.exe has created an error
and will close.

Sometimes it's right off the bat, other times I can be
on for a while then it'll happen, and then other times
I won't get the error at all.

This only happens during an internet session, other-
wise everything's fine.

Any ideas why svchost.exe is closing and what I can
do to correct it?

I'm using Earthlink dialup (haven't made the next step
yet)

CoolWebSearch parasite uses Svchost.exe and causes problems.

So clean your system of all virus/trojans with the latest file definition
and
while at it clean it of all parasites.
