svchost.exe - Application Error

I keep getting this error message when I am on my compaq armado 1500c
laptop.

"The instruction at "0xe03c3a68" referenced memory at 0xe03c3a68". The
memory could not be "read".

then it terminates the program. I am usually connected to the internet at
this time. I am running windows 2000pro SP4.
