SVC HOST RUNNING @ 100% HELP!*!

please help.....machine is running slow even with centrino chip and 512
ram...also taskmanager locks up when opened to close other programmes that
have locked....fun or what!

full av software running ...no w32 or blaster.... help appreciated
 
R u running cisvc.exe in your task manager processes if
so end process and see if that helps
 
I'm having the same problem and have had it for twelve months and only just found out!!!
I would be playing games online when they would suddenley crash after hearing the whirring noise of the hard drive. Going into taskmanager i found every so often there would be a huge drain on the processor and CISVC.EXE kept coming up as the drain
I will give it a try and if all else fails format everything and start again
