SVC host.exe

I don't know what happened but since last week I get a
message "svc host.exe has generated errors and will be
closed by windows. you will need to restart the program.
an error log is being created" I haven't installed any
software.
How do I correct this???????????

The error your getting is a common error just resently, it
is as I understand an error that is caused by one of the
latest virus out there, I cannot say to much in detail as
to what virus because I do not know, a friend of mine had
this same error and turned out to be viral.

I had the same error on a Windows 2000 Adv server, found
that all my usb, com, lpt ports would not work after this,
after a couple of restarts it was fine and has not done it
since, I am sure that this file is needed to run more
services then the above.
