OT: Not directly related to Windows Vista, but any time I send an e-mail
with no subject, Avast thinks the message is suspicious. Is there a way to
make it stop thinking a message is suspicious just because the e-mail has no
subject? Thanks.

Messages without a subject are classically sent by Trojans from your address
book. Never open a message without a subject, therefore, never send one.

Disable your email incoming and outgoing scanning integration. That should do it

What Peter said. Email scanning is superfluous. It adds no protection not
supplied by the normal resident scanner and often slows down email
operations enough to break them.

Add a subject. The lack of a subject line is a standard spammer and
malware-delivery tactic.
