Goto Start, Run and type "control userpasswords2"

Then goto the Advanced tab and hit the advanced button under "Advanced user
management"
Then select the user account in question, then check off "Account is
disabled"

Hi

You can disable an account - Right click on My Computer and select 'Manage'. Then expand:

Computer Management>System Tools>Local Users and Groups>Users - in the right hand pane select one account, right click on it and then select Properties. You can disable that account from in there.
