I see that the new Windows Defender will be able to get it's new updates with
WSUS. We still have not upgraded to WSUS and are still using SUS. Can WD
get defs from SUS?

Apparently not. I don't believe that this class of signature updates are
published via SUS.

Nope, it is only available with WSUS. SUS has limited useful time left, so
it is time to start planning to upgrade to WSUS.
