SUS countdown

We have implemented SUS and configured the clients to
download and schedule the install via group policy,
however some of our users have administrator rights over
the workstation and recieve a countdown dialogue box of 5
mins before install.

Does anyone know how to reduce this countdown or even
remove it so that the update will install immediatly?

Hi Dave.

See the link below that shows how to configure the client settings via Group Policy.
The default setting is five minutes for " Reschedule Automatic Updates scheduled
installations Properties " if the scheduled time is missed which you can reduce. If
you can set it to zero, it may do what you want. --- Steve
