We have implemented SUS 1.0 using a Group Policy Object
with the SUS Admin Template installed. It is configured
to download and install every day at 5pm. We are testing
the function of the delayed install where we have
the "RescheduleWaitTime" set to 5 minutes. If a computer
is off and misses the scheduled install time and then the
user turns on the computer and DOES'NT LOG IN, then the
install happens 5 minutes later. This is according to the
SUS white paper and tests OK. However, our desired effect
would be to have the user able to log in and then 5
minutes later the install runs. Currently what happens is
the user logs in and then 5 minutes later the Auto Update
globe appears in the systray and downloads the update but
does not install automatically. Is there any way to get
it to auto install with a user logged in, after the
scheduled time has elapsed?
