Suppression of Pauses

Does anyone know how to suppress pauses when recording a
CD when the source CD has multiple track listings for
music that has no actual pauses.
For example - there are multiple songs that are strung
together without any pauses, one leading to the next in
continuous fashion. The source CD appropriately lists
the songs as tracks, but in fact, there is only one track
from an artistic perspective. When copying from this
source disk, each "track" is interpreted as having a
pause associated with it, and is inserted into the disk
being burned, which ruins the continuity of the
performance. This is annoying and ruins the flow of the
music, but I haven't found any means to stop it. Any
help would be appreciated. Thanks.
