Supporting more than 256 colors?

Is there any way to upgrade the server-based RDP protocol in order to support a higher color resolution?? Thanks in advance.

No, this is not possible. You have to upgrade the whole server OS to
Windows 2003 to get this (or use Citrix on top of W2K TS).
