XP has all Russian _fonts_ already active - easy to verify by going
to any Russian site, f.e. http://www.yandex.ru
To activate Russian _keyboard_ tools plase see my instruction -
in the Russian Keyboard section of my site.

Then you will be able to read/write in Russian in MS Word.

As for Eudora... Unlike other e-mail program such as Outlook Express
or Mail in Netscape/Mozilla that work with Russian just fine
(I have easy tune-up instructions for them - in the
Russian in Browsers/Mail/News section of my site),
Eudora is known to be very hard with any non-Western script...
It's VERY hard to use Russian in Eudora - see some Eudora-related
links in the "More Russification. Q&A, Links" section of my site
