Support Cycle of Windows 2000 Server ?

John

From the web, I am aware that Windows 2000 Server is already in Extended
Cycle. However, since an application we are using has to be run on Windows
2000 Server (The developer company has been closed down).

As our existing server is going to retire, we have to set up a new one, we
would like to know whether there is any issue we have to look into if we
determine to run the application for 4 more years with Windows 2000 Server ?

Thank you for your suggestion.

Hmm. How would we know? Making a wild guess but you might be surprised. Did
you try it on a test box with Windows server 2003?

I guess I'd look for another solution.
