Supervisor Password

Hi, I set supervisor password on my computer (Windows XP SP1) and unabled
password on boot. I did it so I could controll my son's access to the
computer. One day I discovered that he got around that password. I have no
idea how he did it since he could not access settings (F2) and user accounts.
Password was not changed, just was not applied at the right places. Could he
use system restore while accessing Administrator Administrator account
(password free) in save mode (F8)??? One thing for sure - he was hitting all
possible Fs... after turning on computer. Any idea how he could do it and how
should I set passwords so he does not do it in the future?
Your help will be highly appreciated.

The only way to secure your machine is to remove physical access to it. Period. There are many ways to get around password issues once the system is under physical control. Even if you rename the administrator account and password protect it, there still exists the *.cpl files in system 32 folder which are accessible durring a repair install of the OS from CD. Good Luck!
