Supervisor Password for Content Advisor

A friend of mine was given an old computer from her sister. They had turned
on the content advisor to keep their son from accessing the internet when
they weren't home. Since then, they have bought a new computer, had this one
sitting in the closet and have forgotten the supervisory password.

Is there a way to clear the password without wiping the entire hard drive
and reloading the entire system? The computer does not have a secondary web
browsing program (mozilla).

Any assistance at this point will be very helpful.

Open a Run command and type in:
regedit.exe click [OK]
Locate this Key:
[-]HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Ratings = and delete the value for the Key in the Right Pane/window.
Close the Registry and Hit F5 to refersh, does this help?.
