Sun Java TM virtual machine (JVM) v1.4

I went to a site today that requested me to have Sun Java
TM virtual machine (JVM) v1.4 inoder to view it. Can
someone direct me to the download site and do I have to
unistall Microsoft virtual machine (VM) first?

and download the Sun Java Runtime Environment (JRE) by clicking
on the download link for
"32-bit for Windows/Linux/Solaris SPARC/Solaris x86"

You don't have to turn off MS VM as far as I know...

U can also go here: http://java.com/en/index.js
for latest version Free easy download. Be patient when Install Wizard statrs. It takes a long time to fully plant itself in OS. Just go make a cup a Java, sit back and wait! Will cure a lot of incomplete page loads and missing Java applets "x" etc. Windows XP doesn't come with Java Runtime preinstalled! A lot of users don't realize that yet, at least I didn't untill recently.
