SUM CELLS

I used to be able to click and drag my pointer over a range of cells, and in
the bottom right corner of the program in the status bar it would show me
the sum of the cells. That some how became disabled. Any idea how I can get
the feature back?

with your mouse, right-click down there, where you used to see the sum, and
you'll get a pop-up menu of formulas that will be applied when you highlight
a group of cells. Most likely, "None" is selected. Select the formula you
want (SUM) and you should be back on track.
