Suggestions for Outlook 2007

I would appreciate the following options to be introduced in Outlook:

1) When you tab to a date field (start date, due date, etc.) today's date is
already entered by default.

2) When you tab to a date field enable a keyboard shortcut (Alt - down, F2,
etc.) to bring up the calendar so that you can scroll using the keyboard to
select a date with the Enter key. Enable keyboard shortcu letter "T" to
select today's date.

3) This suggestion applies to all Office 2007 applications. I and many
people I have met find the color scheme too confusing. While it has a
pleasing look, it is too confusing to understand what the various lines/areas
of the form represent. This is made especially difficult because of the "3D"
look or gradient fill in the line items themselves (e.g. ribbons, tool bars,
etc.) Can you offer an option to customize the colors using a palette so that
each user can select their own. This should include an options to use solid
colors and the Windows scheme a user may have selected.

1. Tasks: what if you don't want to start or end today? Calendar: i you
double click on a date in the calendar it uses that day, or have a date
selected an click new appointment. In either case, you can use natural
language or keyboard shortcuts to enter dates. 1w, 3d, week after next are
all valid.

2. The date picker is a slow way to enter dates. If you know the date and
are using the keyboard, type it in 4/15 = April 15 of this yr, otherwise
include the year as 4/15/10. If you know a time period to jump ahead, like 10
days from now, use a date shortcut.
See http://www.slipstick.com/emo/2005/up050818.htm#natualdate for more
shortcuts.

3. While the color schemes available may not be pleasing to the eye (i hate
the black one), the colors should have no effect on understanding "what the
various lines/areas of the form represent". If you can be more specific in
what parts confuse you, we might understand the problem better.
