Suggestion for improvement

I was running a scan while watching it, I clicked on the
Real time protection button. Then I received a dialog box
saying my scan had been aborted.

This, in my opinion, ir wrong behavior. If the buttons
are active, then it should be possible to manipulate
other parts of the program even while scanning. But as a
minimum I should have been presented with a dialog
box "This will cause your current scan to stop. Do you
wish to continue?"

Yes this is incorrect behavior.

It has been noted, and is in the list for fixing.

Mark L Ferguson has provided a FAQ for this product which includes some
information on similar issues:

snipped from the FAQ...

3) Remarks
a) "it doesn't work!! (It's a "Beta")
b) "Will it be free, or not?" (Not announced yet)
c) "My software is falsely accused of spying!"
(http://support.microsoft.com/kb/892340 MAS incorrectly identifies a program
as a spyware threat)
d) Various other rants and trolling (yawn)
