Hi, I saw a post you put up some time ago and wanted a followup and didn't
think you would look back that far.

regarding the attachments in outlook that are blocked, you put up a link to
slipstick but it shows an error when one goes to it. Could you please
repost the link that allows attachments to be sent and recieved, also, does
the addin allow all attachments to be sent or do you have to have a new
addin for each type of extension, i.e., I downloaded a program that allows
me to send a web page but I tried to send a task from outlook and it was
blocked???

thanks, this is such a huge problem for users out there, why doesn't
microsoft offer a solution especially given the fact the explorer has a
built in send function????

one last question, I have outlook 2000 and just got a new laptop with xp
pro, is it xp pro or outlook 2000 that limits attachments?

I'm not Sue, nor am I boy named Sue. You didn't provide the link to the
old article you mentioned and "bob" really isn't unique enough for me to
bother to go searching. Presumably Sue gave you a link to:

http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/esecup/getexe.htm

You have to remember that word wrapping within the
view window
means that part of the URL may be on the next line, so you have to copy
the first part, paste that into an address input box, and then copy and
paste the rest of the URL on however many more lines it spans.

Sounds like you're looking for the Attachment Options add-in. The link
to it is on that same page.
