Outlook 2003 (on WinXP Pro), which has worked fine for a very long time, has
me baffled. One moment I was getting my email as usual, the next minute it
just stopped and I have gotten the following message for 12 hours now:
" Task 'pop.surfbest.net - Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC0F) : 'The
connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues,
contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP). The
server responded: +OK 2900 octets' "
I made no changes to my Outlook settings or to any application on my
computer.
I can access my email via the web gui.
My husband has a mailbox at the same account but he is getting his email so
it isn't the email server.
I have restarted Outlook, rebooted my computer, did a repair operation. Not
a whiff of email coming down the pike.
Any suggestions?
