Successful Remove Additional DC

I have sucessfully remove Addiional DC from our forest, No Error/Warning
during demotion process & in Event Viewer. now I have only one DC (first DC)
in my forest. But removed DC is still exist in AD Sites & service Server
Container. No Error/Warning in both systems (Ex DC & existing DC) Event
Viewer. This phase has more than 36 hours old.

The following system Log message of Ex DC.

Category: None
Event ID: 12296

The SAM database attempted to clear the directory C:\WINNT\NTDS in order to
remove files that were once used by the Directory Service. The error is in
record data. Please have an admin delete these files.

If that is on the old-DC (demoted DC) you can safely delete
those files, and in fact the entire ..\NTDS directory tree.
Also, "SysVol" if it exists still.

You might also wish to run "DCDiag" on the remaining DC
and correct (or report here) any errors or warnings.

(If the DC was not fully removed from AD at demotion then
there will be errors to correct.)

Also, you really SHOULD have at least two DCs OR very
frequent and correct backups.
