They will only be able to view the folder / subweb
that is assigned their user name and password.

Hi,
I was trying to figure out how to give different users
access to different pages within one website and I learned
that you can convert folders into "subwebs". This would
allow me to select different users from windows to be able
to view different pages within one website.
But my question is, if I create a username/password for a
client outside my company in Windows, so that he'll be
able to view websites we set up, won't he be able to
access everything else in the server (which is especially
worrisome considering we don't have a dedicated server for
our websites). Am I correct in thinking this? If so, is
there a way around it?
Thank you very much

Ok, that makes sense. Thanks. How foolproof do you think
this method is? I mean, I'm not talking about hackers or
anything like that, just keeping clients from accessing
the rest of our server.
