| Using CPanel you can't do exactly what you want but you can do the
| following:

http://www.regularweb.com/unprotectedsubweb/protecteddirectory/anythingyoulike.html

| EVERYTHING under protecteddirectory will prompt for userid and password.
|
| In CPanel:
| Password Protection
| Navigate to the folder.
| Click the folder NAME not the icon.
| Set the resource name.
| Click SAVE
| In the active user sections:
| Set a User Name and Password hit Add New User.
|
| I use this when I write admin functions. I create a folder, put the admin
| functions in there and protect that folder.
