subtract shares for specific purchase dates

I want to transfer my excel stock spreadsheet to access. I want to be able
to subtract shares sold from a list of shares purchased the same date. I
want to use one form to enter shares purchased and shares sold. Any idea how
to net out the total shares and costs? Any help would be appreciated. Thank
you
 
The easiest way would be 2 have a 7 column table and a 8 column query. The
query would be the recordsource for the form.

Table:
IDField Autonumber
Date Date/Time
Symbol Text
QtyCost Long Integer
Cost Currency
QtySell Long Integer
Sell Currency

Query:
IDField
Date
Symbol
QtyCost
Cost
QtySell
Sell
Calculation: ((QtyCost*Cost)-(QtySell*Sell))*-1
