Subsites

Is it possible to have more than one subsite? Or does it
depend on my host? i converted two folders to web, and i
clicked open the first one and published. it told me
there was no web at the location www.domain.com/subsite
and asked me if i wanted to create one, so i did and it
worked fine. now the second one i converted and i am
trying to publish it. All it is doing is creating the
pages and other folders within that folder to my site.
can someone please help? what would be the proper way to
publish my subsite to my web?

You mean subwebs
- yes you can have multiple ones but use File Publish Web/Site and make sure the locations are unique as in
http://www.domain.com/subsite1/
http://www.domain.com/subsite2/
