Subsites and access

Hi. I have done this before but I can't replicate it. I want to create a
client area as a subsite with a set password. If I go to view the website on
the server and then to the subsite section, I can't seem to set a separate
password for the subsite. What am I doing wrong?

Your host will have to support subwebs and unique permissions under the FP Server Extensions
