Subreports don't appear in the report if I splitted the database

I created a rather complicated report with many subreports included and many
queires. When I run the report it worked fine as long as the table and
reports etc. are in one database. But if I splitted the database, all the
subreports doesn't display on the report. There are no temporary tables in
any queries. Can someone teach me to resolve this problem? Thank you.

Thanks for the prompt response. I used splitting database function to split
the database. I have checked all the links are available. I got no errors
when I ran the report.

If I don't split the database, I got the result as expected. If I try to
save as PDF, I got error 'Cannot open any more tables'. I would get some
subreport missing. How can I fix this problem as well? Thank you for the help.
