Subreport Page Heading

I can't get the page heading of the subreport to print on
the main report.
 
That's by design? You can create a pseudo page header by creating a new
primary sorting and grouping level with and expression of:
=1
Display the group header section. Set the Repeat Section property of the
group header section to Yes. Use this as your subreport's page header.
