subject button in outlook toolbar

I clicked something (not sure what) by accident and lost the "subject" button
on my Outlook toolbar, which means I can't see the subject lines in my in
box. How do I restore it? I haven't had any success with the "help" topics.

Right-click on one of the column headers and choose "Customize Current View"
then click on "Fields". Next add the "Subject" field to the "Show these
fields in this order" box and click on OK.

Or they can just r3eset the view to its default value.
