subforms

hello, i am new here. i am trying to select my subform, it is suppose to
change into the move hand sign, then i am suppose to click subform in new
window on the shortcut menu. i do not see that, why is that? i am under
layout view, but it is suppose to open up in design view. i am clicking
around the subform's border and i do not see subform in new window.

I'm going to guess that you are using Access 2007. I don't use Layout View
for anything since it's not really a professional design tool. You can try
what I know will work though, and open the form in Design View. Now you
should easily be able to select the subform control, then right-click and
choose Subform in New Window.

yes, i am using access 07 i have to for my class. i am going by the
instructions in my access textbook. thanx i will try that
