Subform Refresh

I have a form (F1) with two subforms (SF1 and SF2). SF1 and SF2 are bound to
F1 with a parent/child link (MICNbr). So, when I choose a MICNbr in F1, both
subforms refresh with matching data. Bus SF2 has data for MICNbr across
several ProjectNbrs. When a given project nbr is chosen from SF1, I want SF2
to refresh with the subset of data belonging only to MICNbr (from F1) and
ProjectNbr (from F2). I set up the query that forms the record source for SF2
to include ProjectNbr, but it doesn't refresh when SF1 is changed.

I tried putting a control in F1 that referenced the Project Nbr from SF1,
then linking that to SF2 (Parent/Child), but it won't accept any fields that
are not part of F1's record source.

Ideas?

If SF2 is related to SF1 (i.e., the MICNbr AND the ProjectNbr), why do you
have it only related to F1's MICNbr?

You can embed SF2 within SF1 and relate on their respective fields, and
embed SF1 within F1.

Jeff, I tried to make SF2 a subform of SF1, but SF1 is (at least right
now...) a datasheet form, there's noplace to put SF2. Normally, I'd put it in
the footer, or someplace like that... Anyway, I'll do some more struggling
with that as the objective, and maybe I'll figure it out. Thanks for pointing
me in the right direction.

Change SF1 from DataSheet to Continuous. That leaves room for subforms...
