I'm using Access97 and have a main form bound to one table and subforms bound
to queries based on another table. But the subform isn't not currently
linked to the main form.
The form opens fine and the tables are populated correctly. But when I open
the form data is entered into the subform table. But the records with data
show and records without don't show until I exit the form. It is entering
information for each subform on the form, even if the tab is not enabled.
I tried creating a new form and wiping out all of the code and just have the
subforms refer to the bound table and now you can see that all of the records
for the subforms are being created when the form opens.
I even tried breaking up the subforms into different bound tables and stil
have the same problem.
So I need to know why it's causing this problem. When I linked the main and
subforms it also did the same thing.
Any help would be appreciated.
