Subform not displaying om first record

I have a form with tabbed subforms on it. They work fine, except for the
fact that when I open the form, abd the first record that shows up, the
subform does not display any data.

Once I navigate to the next record and back, magically the data is there! I
have no special code or macros written on this form, and it worked for about
a year. I added a new tab with another subform, and now the entire thing is
flubbed!

I have run into that same thing. As I recall, it is not always a problem,
but I have not been able to sort out why it is a problem at some times and
not at others. Does the problem go away if you remove the new subform.

You could create a new blank database. Click Tools > Options. On the
General tab, clear the Name AutoCorrect check boxes. I'm not sure how that
would work with Access 2007, but in earlier versions (not sure about 97,
either) that's how it works. Anyhow, click File > Get External Data >
Import. Navigate to the current database. Click the Tables tab, and Select
All. Repeat for Queries, etc. If you have custom menus and toolbars click
the Options button and make the appropriate selection there. Once
everything is selected, click the Import button (or maybe it's OK or
something like that). See if the new database behaves.
